We recently received some exciting news. Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari has been named the top-selling biodiversity credit project globally for May 2026, accounting for 43% of total biodiversity credit sales worldwide — as reported by Carbon News and confirmed by Bloomlabs, a platform that analyses global biodiversity credit market transactions.

From Josh Leenhouwers sharing insights on energy resilience and decarbonisation in Nelson, to our Auckland team joining the Silverdale Business Well+Wise Expo, it’s been inspiring to see so many people exploring practical pathways towards a more sustainable future.

We’ve recently welcomed two fantastic new team members to Ekos. Shannon Gormley joins us as a Sustainability Consultant and Carla Araya as our Finance Administrator, bringing fresh expertise and perspectives as we continue to support businesses on their sustainability journeys.

Ekos is partnering with the Plan Vivo Foundation to support nature carbon project developers across multiple countries, providing business coaching to help community-led initiatives become financially viable while preserving their environmental and social values.
