Ekos CEO Sean Weaver co-hosts an interactive workshop at UN CBD COP17 in Yerevan, Armenia, alongside Kristen Sullivan (Biodiversity Lead, Deloitte Global) and Joshua Brann (Technical Coordinator, Biodiversity Credit Alliance).
The workshop, “Unlocking Deal Flow: Aligning supply-side/demand-side data and assurance for the emerging biodiversity markets”, focuses on the data and assurance needs of demand-side actors, and how these can better align with supply-side data and assurance systems.
The aim is to identify practical barriers to deal flow and explore how stronger alignment can help unlock more finance for biodiversity, support implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and help close the estimated US$700 billion annual biodiversity finance gap.
