In our recent webinar, we explored what it really takes to build high-integrity carbon removal projects and how Ekos Forever Forests (our joint venture with Forever Forests) is helping make that happen. 

One idea that caught the audience’s attention came from our CEO, Sean Weaver. 

He compared the world of climate investment to a shark tank, and said the key is finding the dolphins among the sharks! 

Dolphin investors are the ones who care about both nature and financial sense. 

They’re patient, fair, and willing to trade a little profit for a long-term environmental legacy. 

That idea perfectly summed up what the session was all about - building a climate model that works for people, the planet, and the economy. 

The webinar message was clear: The challenge ahead is huge, but so is the opportunity. 

And if we get this right, NZ can lead the world in climate action built on integrity, collaboration… and a few more dolphins.
