Over the last year, Ekos has been developing a new sophisticated online emissions calculation application to replace our excel calculators. dCarbon has been tested by the team over the last 3 months and we are seeing fantastic results in terms of speed of data input, report generation, streamlined review processes and most importantly – the ability to keep up with regular emissions factor updates. The tool also has the ability to store historical emissions inventories for an organisation all in one place, which makes emissions comparison calculations much easier than digging out old spreadsheets!

In the New Year we will be inviting interested clients to interact directly with dCarbon. These clients will have the option of entering the data into the tool themselves to see real-time updates of their emissions throughout the year. As per usual, an Ekos analyst will be on hand to support as needed.
